Product Review :: Bite Agave Lip Mask

Recently, in this post, I admitted my addiction to chapstick. Since then, my friend recommended Bite lip products and praised its nourishing, restorative benefits. I’m always willing to try a new beauty product, especially a lip gloss/balm/stain/chapstick so I picked up the Bite Agave Lip Mask at Sephora. Lip treatments are quite different than lip sticks as described by vmac+cheese, here. Her post made me realize how much wax and petroleum I’ve ingested over the years, which is a scary thing to really think about. (You are what you eat.). I was excited to learn that not only does the Bite Lip Agave Mask restore moisture, but it is made of natural, food grade ingredients and is certified organic!

So what’s the verdict???

I’ve used this product for about a week now which is long enough for me to really tell if it works or not. I’m a chapstick connoisseur, remember? Guys, I am soooooo happy with this purchase! The lip mask is really thick, has a sweet cake-like scent, and you only need to apply a little bit at night and in the morning. At $26, it is more expensive than a tube of Carmex, but my lips are smooth, hydrated and I’m no longer reaching for chapstick every hour.

If winter dried out your puckers, this lip treatment will help make them pretty and kissable again.

(Thanks Gemma, for the reco!)
