I should first start by saying, this is not a car ad. I opted not to do another “I’m-standing-in-front-of-a-wall” post and decided to get a bit more creative. (This idea came to me while in the car, btw.)
I spend a fair amount of time commuting to work each day; it actually adds up to almost 50 hours a month. But the upside is, I’ve found that my best ideas come to me while driving, in my little think tank. Whether I need to sort through a situation at work, replay the latest presidential debate debacle, or figure out weekend plans, it’s usually thought through while on the road.
Just the other day I was thinking about new staple items for my wardrobe. In summer, off-the-shoulder blouses were all the rage, but I’ve noticed it has been modified for the fall. Cold, or open shoulder tops are everywhere and I suspect we’ll see many versions this season. And on the days when it’s too chilly to expose a lot of skin, a turtleneck underneath this pretty knit sweater might make it more weather appropriate.
So much like you shouldn’t wake someone that is sleepwalking, if you see me cruising on the open road, or even at Target or the grocery store all zombie-like, please do not disturb… I’m in the zone!
